Say hello to The Rayguns.

All right, this is it. My dad's place in McCall isn't the best site for sledding -- the backyard is basically one massive drop-off with the freezing river below. So we've found a nearby location that works quite well, even if it doesn't photograph well. It's a culdesac at the end of the street that's usually quite abandoned. This is your new blog post. Click here and start typing, or drag in elements from the top bar. We had a great time in McCall, in spite of the rain. Yes, rain! It was very disheartening and depressing. Luckily, it wasn't really raining on the ski hill. It was, however, windy enough to shut down all the main chairs at Brundage. So Michael and I didn't get all the awesome skiing in that we had hoped to. But Kellan was a different story -- he ripped up the bunny hill!!! Stay tuned for pics... We're in the mountains, enjoying the snow (and hoping it will stop melting!!!). I didn't think I'd get a chance to blog, but then my dad mentioned he's got an internet air card for his computer. So what am I doing? Blogging. People are making fun of me, but I'm blogging. Just a little bit, honest. I would post pictures of our sledding/skiing/snowman making day, but I'm not on my computer so I'll save that for later. Kellan is in love with the idea of skiing. Thankfully, he's doing much better than his mommy did when she first snapped into a pair of skis! Santa's workshop sure was busy on Christmas Eve. Once a certain someone was all snug in his bed, a couple of very tired elves worked their fingers to the bone putting the final touches on the sweet retro kitchen you see here. Thanks to a last minute delivery from one of Santa's suppliers, the elves had all the parts and pieces they needed to turn the pile of boards into a shiny surprise. We hit the holidays hard this year. As Michael put it tonight, "I feel like we just sprinted a holiday marathon." It's not often that Kellan gets a cookie. But hey, it's Christmas. Courtney and Adam made a batch this weekend and made some special ones for Kellan, so I allowed him to indulge. Check it out! |
